Find The Right Natural Cure For Excessive Sweating Today

When looking for treatment for excessive sweating, you are bound to run into several different options. Of course, you can always go down the route of Botox or having surgery, but this is something you should reserve for a last resort. Instead, you are better off turning to a natural cure for excessive sweating as it is safer and can be just as effective.

The first natural cure for excessive sweating is to find an effective antiperspirant to use. Many assume that deodorant is an antiperspirant, but it is vital you understand not all deodorants have antiperspirant. While some deodorants do contain it, you need to look at the back to make sure it does. The most effective antiperspirants contain aluminum chlorhydrate or another kind of aluminum salt that will block the ducts of the sweat glands.

There are several different kinds of antiperspirants on the market to choose from. One decision you will have to face is whether it is best to go with a spray or stick. Always go with sticks as they are going to provide you with more protection and coverage as oppose to aerosols. In addition, make sure the area you will be applying the antiperspirant to is dry prior putting it on. The reason for this is because sweat and moisture will simply dilute what you put on.

The next natural cure for excessive sweating is to rub alcohol on the area where you are sweating profusely. Rubbing alcohol is terrific for constricting pores and preventing sweat from emerging. Just make sure you use this method sparingly as too much rubbing alcohol can irritate the skin and cause rashes to develop.

Although you have probably heard it before, try to avoid spicy foods at all times. No matter how good the food may sound, having hot wings or a burrito with peppers for lunch is only going to lead to you sweating. You will have to decide whether it is worth the embarrassing sweat just for a particular flavor in your mouth.

An obvious solution for some to reduce excessive sweating is to simply dress lighter. Loose-fitting clothes that are made of natural fabrics like cotton will absorb perspiration and allow cool air in while releasing warm air. Rayon, nylon and polyester are all materials that are not going to absorb perspiration and will increase the heat under your clothes.

The final answer to a natural cure for excessive sweating is to soak in cool water. It has been found that soaking in cool water can help prevent sweating temporarily as it will shrink pores enough to give you a few hours of protection. While this is not a permanent cure, it can be just what you need to get through a job interview or important meeting.
